Analysing Artwork

When analysing any piece of work there is a general format that you should follow:
Painting:
Subject Matter, Composition, Colour/Lighting, Style/Technique, Atmosphere/Emotion, Your Opinion.
Treatment of the Human Figure where possible
Metalwork Objects:
Form, Function, Decoration, Metalworking Techniques
Sculpture:
Function, Subject Matter, Location, Size/Scale, Form, Light, Texture/Colour/Line, Techniques/Materials
